Optional technical visit on 14 December for registered participants:

Complimentary visit of Andra's Meuse-Haute-Marne Centre, includes the Underground Research Laboratory located at Bure and the Technological Exhibition Facility at Saudron (buffet-style lunch on site provided by Andra). The Centre is located two and a half hours from Reims and pre-registered participants will be transferred by bus (leaving the Conference Centre at 7:30 AM, Wednesday 14 December and returning the same day around 7:00 PM). This visit is limited to 40 conference participants, who must commit to this visit on the registration form.

Before and after the conference for participants and accompanying persons:

Participants and accompanying persons may join tours with English- or French-speaking guides to visit:

• Central Reims and Cathedral, 14 December afternoon.
• Champagne region, 18 December, all day.

During the conference, for participants and accompanying persons:

• Accompanying persons are encouraged to make their own arrangements for daytime activities. Tourist information can be found at www.reims-tourism.com
• Ice-breaker:
  The ice-breaker for conference participants will be held on 14 December at the Reims Conference Centre. Accompanying persons registered for the conference dinner (see below) are welcome to participate in the icebreaker.
• Conference dinner:
  The conference dinner on 16 December will be held at the Pommery Champagne Cellars. This includes a visit of the cellars, followed by a special "hands on" demonstration on how to sabre a champagne magnum bottle. The conference dinner is sponsored by Andra and can thus be offered at no extra cost to the participants. Due to the exceptional venue of this event, the number of additional guests that can attend the dinner is limited. Participants may register one guest to the dinner at a preferential rate of 100€, which includes the icebreaker (see registration form).
